The LPGA returns to Hawaii for the first time since 2019 for the Lotte Championship.
The event has moved from Ko Olina Golf Club to Kapolei Golf Club. This is the first time the tour has played at Kapolei since the 2001 Cup of Noodles Hawaiian Open.
European Solheim Cup captain Catriona Matthew won that event. Angela Stanford and Cristie Kerr are the only players in the field this week who played at Kapolei two decades ago.
Brooke Henderson won the last two Lotte events in 2019 and 2018. Other past champions in the field in include Kerr (2017), Sei Young Kim (2015) and Minjee Lee (2016). The event was canceled in 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
