Stewart Cink seems to have found his happy place at Harbour Town Golf Links. A week after finishing T12 at the Masters, the 47-year-old has a commanding 36-hole lead at the RBC Heritage, a tournament he’s won twice in his long PGA Tour career.
Cink, the 2009 British Open winner, has put together back-to-back rounds of 63 to reach 16 under, good for a five-shot lead on Corey Conners.
The island life is good at Harbour Town, at least for some. For others, it was a short week. Tommy Fleetwood and Patrick Cantlay were among notable players headed home after two rounds.
Check out how’s left, and when they tee off on Saturday for the third round.
