The celebration for Women’s Golf Day started early on Tuesday, with Callaway, Women’s Golf Day organizers and Topgolf ringing the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange. The day, which reaches across multiple platforms through dozens of countries, serves to celebrate women in all areas of the golf industry. Elisa Gaudet founded Women’s Golf Day in 2016.
To date, more than 900 locations have participated in Women’s Golf Day across 68 countries. The goal is to create a welcoming environment for women and girls regardless of golf knowledge or skill level. The format offers either two hours of golf lessons or the chance to play nine holes. In the second two hours of Women’s Golf Day programming, participants come together for a social activity.
Callaway partnered with Women’s Golf Day in 2020 and Topgolf has been supporting the event since 2018. This year, however, participating Topgolf venues are offering something more: a complimentary Topgolf Coach Ladies class with 60 minutes of group instruction and a coupon for 50 percent off their next lesson.
Women’s Golf Day keeps growing.
