Defending national champ Pepperdine debuts at top of Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Coaches Poll

It comes as little surprise that defending national champion Pepperdine will enter the season ranked first in the Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Coaches Poll. The Waves received 14 of 21 first-place votes.

Oklahoma State and Arizona State each tallied two first-place votes and rank second and third, respectively.

North Carolina checked in at No. 4. Texas, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma – the NCAA runner-up from last spring – each received one first place vote and filled spots five through seven.

Wake Forest, Texas Tech, and Illinois rounded out the top 10.
