The U.S. has the home-field advantage this week at Whistling Straits and thus will enjoy a significant boost from the fans.

The 43rd Ryder Cup, had it been played a year ago, would have been contested without any fans at all, so having spectators on the grounds will be greatly welcomed. After all, it’s not really a Ryder Cup without the fans, right?

You can be sure there will be a solid representation of the red, white and blue at the Straits Course.

“It’s a huge advantage to play in front of your home crowd. It’s also what makes the event so special,” Justin Thomas said on Tuesday. “This is one of the biggest sporting events in the world.”
