Years of hating each other. Years of trash talk. Years of incredibly cringey behavior from a pair of U.S. Open champions comes down to this week. The fifth installment of The Match will be held at the Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas between Ryder Cup teammates Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau this Friday, Nov. 26.
The boys have been going back and forth on social media for the better part of a month, and it’s been bad. Koepka tried a “rent-free” post, but did it in his own head, with himself living in it. If that makes no sense, it shouldn’t. You have to watch it for yourself.
I don't rent, I own.

Yikes. But, you have to admit, this was pretty good.

Koepka really has been struggling, and it will be interesting to see how he plays on Friday as he’s looked pretty lost on Tour so far this season. We even saw him pull a full DeChambeau, staying late at the range under the floodlights. We’ve come a long way from “If you see me on TV, that’s when I play golf.”
Maybe new clubs will help Koepka break out of this drought, as the four-time major champion announced Monday he’s signed with club and ball manufacturer Srixon.
As for DeChambeau, he hasn’t made a start on Tour since the new season began. In fact, the last we saw the big-hitting righty, was at a long drive competition where he launched a 412-yard seed at one point.
Betting The Match
Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds a full list.
On the gambling side, the Match is always a fun event to have some coin on. Although Tipico doesn’t yet have them live on their app, later in the week you’ll see a variety of potential wagers. Hole-by-hole winners, longest drives, closest to the pin, among other things.
Right now, you can bet on the winner of the Match. Koepka sits at -105, while DeChambeau is the favorite at -130.
Watching The Match
TV coverage begins at 4 p.m. ET on TNT (simulcasts will also be available on TBS, truTV, and HLN).
The event can also be live-streamed online on the Watch TNT app.
