Maude-Aimee Leblanc and Brooke Henderson go into the weekend at the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio in a tie for 10th at five under.

Leblanc had three birdies and a bogey in her first nine holes to make the turn at two under. All pars through the second nine had her tied for second before a double bogey on the final hole of the day left her with an even par 72 on the day.

Henderson alternated birdies and bogeys on the first four holes of the day and made the turn at even par before adding another birdie on her 11th hole of the day, but a bogey on her 16th put her back to even par. A birdie on the next hole left her with a 71.

Both Leblanc and Henderson are six shots behind leaders Danielle Kang and Lydia Ko, who shot 68 and 70, respectively, on Friday.

Cooler weather is expected for the weekend, with Saturday’s high forecasted to be 14 C, with a northwest wind gusting to 26 km/hr. With overnight temperatures expected to dip to 4 C, the high for Sunday’s final round is 16 C with lighter wind. Both rounds will be played under sunny skies.
