80 teams, 32 individuals make up field for 2022 NCAA Division II men's golf championships

There will be 80 teams and 32 individuals competing in the 2022 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Championships.

There are eight regionals competing at four regional sites starting Thursday, May 5, with the final rounds scheduled for Saturday, May 7. The top three teams and the top two individuals not on a team advancing from each regional will then move on to the finals May 16-20 at TPC Michigan in Detroit. Wayne State (Michigan) and the Detroit Sports Commission are the host institutions.

In the 2021 championships, Arkansas Tech defeated Georgia Southwestern to claim the men’s team title, while Keegan Bronnenberg of the University of Indianapolis claimed medalist honors.
