Tom Kim's year to remember continues with 2022 Shriners Children's Open win

The year of Tom Kim continues.

In July the 20-year-old joined the PGA Tour as a special temporary member and has since gone on to win the 2022 Wyndham Championship and rise to summer stardom after providing the International team with a spark in his Presidents Cup debut.

Kim proved he wasn’t just a flash in the pan by claiming the 2022 Shriners Children’s Open on Sunday for his second win in his last four starts on Tour. The South Korean held off 2017 Shriners champion Patrick Cantlay and Matthew NeSmith by three to win at 24 under at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas with Rickie Fowler’s former caddie, Joe Skovron, on the bag.

Kim shot a 5-under 66 on Sunday to finish the week bogey free, the first to do so since Joaquin Niemann at the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic.
